Seyir
A tattoo by Ulaş Yeşilyurt, 2026.
Some people just pass through places.
Some carry those places within them.
Mehmet’s story feels like that.
The cultures he experienced, the roads he walked, the people he encountered…
Over time, they all became part of the way he sees life.
But at the center of this piece, there’s something even deeper.
A child learning the world through his grandfather.
How to look at life,
how to approach people,
what it truly means to be on a journey.
And maybe most importantly:
“Touch a child’s life, so they can touch another.”
For me, this piece is more than a composition.
It’s roots, journey, and a soul passed from one generation to another — translated onto skin.
