Kut, draws inspiration from the relationship between nature, belief, and cultural memory in Turkic mythology.
At the center of the narrative, the deer is portrayed in its traditional role as a spiritual guide in Turkic mythology. The Kipchak mask and crescent moon carry traces of cultural heritage, while the rocks, birds, and flowering branches connect this narrative to the continuity of nature.
Elements belonging to different periods and carrying distinct meanings come together as fragments of a shared memory. Rather than simply depicting mythological symbols, the work explores the meanings they continue to hold in the present.
